Pathogen-based Surveillance Update

A total of 1,028 samples were received by the Clinical Laboratory of RITM form different Disease Reporting Units (DRUs) all over the Philippines Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (PIDSR) and local national outbreak response. Among these were 322 samples from laboratory surveillance sentinel sites of Dengue, Rotavirus, Acute Meningngococcal Encephalitis Syndome (AMES), Influenza Like Illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI).
